Infamy... what a mysterious project this is.
Once having been mentioned in business magazine Music Week some time ago ("...There's also a rumoured George Michael version of the track, under the name Infamy...") in a story about Pete Burns (lead singer with Dead Or Alive, the group which originally had a hit with the song in 1984) it was never talked about since then.
In 1995 this project was released and with all tracks produced by Chris Porter (George's long time engineer) and executive produced by Andreas Georgiou (George's cousin) the CD single also featured another track which was written by Georgiou and Andrew Ridgeley's co-producer Gary Bromham. Well, a nice family release, isn't it? And guess who does the vocals on You Spin Me Round alongside Lawrie Pepsi Demacque?
