Ms Dynamite
Ms Dynamite's anti-war
duet with George Michael was one of the special moments
that the Brits were
once known for.
Ms Dynamite's reception from the crowd proved that she is now seen as an
idol by the fans, who also gave Michael a huge cheer.
He only appeared on a giant screen, having recorded his half of the duet in
Los Angeles.
His association with Ms Dynamite certainly helped his street cred no end
and made the pop kids
forget all about the media furore over his Shoot the
Dog video.
It was undoubtedly the with-child Ms Dynamite's night, holding the bump in
her stomach
and thanking her husband when nobody knew she was married on
top of collecting two prizes and performing.
That was the only thing that saved it from being just a night of safe,
transient pop fun. (c) BBC
The lyrics:
We've been here before
Talk of violence and talk of war
I don't want to see the children die no more
So I gotta make a stand
Can you hear my voice
Taking a life is only gods choice
I don't want blood on my hands
I am a wise man
A wise man wars with words, my daddy says
A wise man lives to fight another day
And he don't wanna
See no more mothers cry
I don't want to see no fathers die
So I gotta have faith
(George's vocal enters) I gotta have faith
I gotta have faith, faith, faith
I gotta have faith, faith, faith
Lady, I guess you heard the news today
There's got to be a better way
You know it's given me the blues
Maybe, we've got time to make it plain
People you've gotta get up off your knees
And say you know we really don't want it
I don't want it (we don't want it) I don't want it
Before this river becomes and ocean
Of tears and fears
They think they know what they're doing, pursuing
Me ain't gonna take that fall
Well it takes a strong man baby
But I've got to hope for more
Cause I gotta have faith
I gotta have faith
I gotta have faith, faith, faith
I gotta have faith, faith, faith
D to the Y to the - Allah we praise
D to the Y to the - Jesus will save
D to the Y to the - it's all the same
D to the Y to the - if you want love
D to the Y to the - Allah we praise (gotta get it together)
D to the Y to the - Jesus will save (gotta get it together)
D to the Y to the - it's all the same (gotta get it together)
D to the Y to the - if you want love
Before this river becomes and ocean (All you've got to do is have a little
faith)
Of tears and fears (And all you've got to do is have faith, yeah yeah, yeah)
They think they know what they're doing, pursuing (One love, one love)
Me ain't gonna take that fall
Well it takes a strong man baby
But I've got to hope for more
Cause I gotta have faith
I gotta have faith
Because I gotta have faith, faith, faith
I gotta have faith, faith, faith

In 2001 a brandnew bootleg mix hit the clubs. The mix contains George's instrumental version of Faith together with Missy Elliott's Get Your Freak On
The DJ behind the Superfreak bootleg mix of Missy Elliott's Get Ur Freak On says he never intended for it to be officially released.
Tom Stephan says he only decided to remix the track because there were no house mixes, but he's still pleased it is to be released.
The white label has been a big hit in Ibiza, and will be come out as Superchumbo on Code Blue in September.
Tom says he sped up Elliott's vocals, kept the guitar hook and added a driving house beat.
He told Worldpop.com: "I thought it was a great record and I'm really pleased it's coming out.
"But that was never my intention. I just made it in my flat, burned a CD and took it out that night to Crash in London. It was the biggest record of the night, when the vocal came in the club went berserk."
Tom gave copies to Danny Tenaglia and Jon Marsh, who played the white label during a nine-hour set at the opening of We Love Sundays At Space in June.
Missy's vocals have also been used over the instrumental of George Michael's Faith. The track was dropped by DJ Harvey at the final Sunday Best at Coastline in San Antonio.
Underground's Matthew B has also mixed the vocals over X-Press 2's Muzikizum.
